by Malcsdev Sept 5th, 2021

In this tutorial I’m going to show you how to fix an iPhone stuck in a boot loop also know as stuck on the apple logo. This guide will show you how to fix an iPhone that keeps restarting and is stuck on the apple logo. This is a very common issue and I have a number of methods that will likely solve this problem for you. Make sure you follow along to fix this problem.

I'm going to show you how to fix this problem and how to get rid of it. But before we get there, what causes this problem? If you scout the internet you’ll realize that One of the main reasons is that when you update your phone, sometimes the update may not complete. And if it doesn't completely makes file systems a bit corrupt and then you won't be able to start. Additionally running an update when you don’t have enough space on your device causes this problem. If you jailbreak your phone and you install new modules, sometimes those can mess up your phone. Ultimately there are so many reasons why this can happen, so I mainly have three solutions to get this problem fixed And most of the time I don't usually get to use all the three solutions. Sometimes I just use the first solution and just works perfectly. So we're going to try one by one. Hopefully, one of them will be able to fix your issue, depending on what caused your phone to get stuck in a loop.

The key to solving this problem is persistence and willingness to try again..

The first method

This is very simple, and it's a quick one. Anyone can do it quickly. All you need to do is hold your phone, Make sure you're seeing the Apple logo before you press this button. Press and hold the volume up and then release the volume down, release, and then the power button. Hold that button for a few seconds until the screen goes off. Now what we are doing here is called a hard reboot, so we are trying to reboot the phone so that it can try to restart. This works most of the time, depending on what caused the boot loop or if it's something minor. If it's something major, you might need to try other solutions. I would recommend trying this at least three times before moving forward trying the next solution. So let's move to method number two.

Second Method.

Caution: It is best to back the device before proceeding with the next two methods because you might lose all your information, so proceed with caution.

I’m pretty sure you’re wondering how can I back up my phone when it’s stuck in this situation? The answer is you can’t at this point. It is a best practice to always back your device. If you don’t know how to backup your iPhone, I have a video on my channel that shows you how to backup your phone. Click here
Moving on, hopefully, you backed up your information with a cloud or iTunes. Before this happened, I'm assuming you backed up. Remember, I mentioned that most of the time it's because an update might not have been completed, so we're going to try to update this phone to see that we can fix this problem. This method requires us to put the iPhone into recovery mode. And to put it into recovery mode, we're going to press and hold volume up, volume down, and then side to button or the power button. Keep holding it until the iPhone reboots and just keep on holding it, and then you will see the recovery screen. Now, when it shows up, iTunes will show you that you have an iPhone that's connected that needs to be addressed to it.

Remember, we're trying to update, we're not trying to restore. These are two different things. We're going to click on Update and then follow the prompts, and then iTunes is going to help us download the latest iOS update in the reason we are doing this is we want to try to update this phone so that we can go through the update process, and that should be able to fix this problem. So make sure you click Update not restore. Downloading iOS might take some time, depending on your internet speed, and might take a few minutes to complete. When the update is done, make sure that the phone is still in recovery mode and then proceed with updating the iPhone.

You might run into errors 14,9,4013 some random iTunes error, you might have to try a different USB cable, update iTunes or macOS operating system if you’re using a mac. You can also watch the video for more details. If this method doesn’t work then try the final method but remember to try a couple of times before proceeding to another method. The key to solving this problem is persistence and willingness to try again.

Third Method.

So the final method is just very simple. We are going to do the same thing like we did in and the previous method. The difference is this time around, instead of clicking update, we are going to restore. So same procedure, make sure the phone is in recovery mode. If you followed each step then your iOS firmware is already downloaded and sitting on your computer. Just make sure the phone is in recovery mode and then click restore on iTunes and that should start the process of restoration.

Consider this to be the last resort. This is the last method. If you're already frustrated and you just want to get through this, you would do method number three because method number three never fails. It always clears the phone, and it always just makes things faster. But I would recommend going through the other options before you go to method number three. I am 100% that one of these methods will be able to help you. If they don’t, then consider getting the phone in DFU mode to restore. Here’s a link that describes the DFU Mode.
